The last margarita is the Anejo Margarita. I'm not really sure why I didn't start this in the beginning along with similar recipes, nevertheless, we end on a very yummy margarita! I felt it only appropriate to share the last margarita with my family, who started this whole thing with my back on May 7th!
It was a good margarita, nice and sour! I think I've said all I can say about Margaritas over the past few months!

It has been a fun summer to say the least. I can't believe it's all over. I have been able to spend some time with great family and friends enjoying (and not enjoying) these margarita recipes! I have successfully shared a margarita with 60 other people (yes, I counted) Some have guest blogged, and some have quietly enjoyed. As the last few weeks were closing in, everyone was asking me "which one is your favorite?" After careful consideration, I have narrowed it down to a top five!

I've been invited to parties to make and/or bring my recipes. I've been called the "Margarita Expert." (I've been called other names too, but those we won't repeat!) It has been a summer I will never forget. Thank you to all of my followers, and fellow drinkers. People have asked me what I'll be doing next summer. Another one of Kim's books? My little joke is "I'll be in AA next summer!"

I'm on number 99! YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Probably only one more to go. I cannot get a Cherimoya on time. But, for tonight, I had the Cranberry Margarita. This one could go really well with a Thanksgiving dinner. I may just try that. It had tequila, triple sec, and cranberries with a splash of lemon juice. Put that in a blender, and it makes a very cool, tart cocktail. I would make another of of these for sure, but it's still not my favorite of the last 99. Sorry, cranberries!
I'm saving the last margarita for Labor Day! I'll also be celebrating by remaking some of my favorites with my family. Cheers until then!
